In order to know the social and health consequences of hip fractures (HF). ⋯ Our data confirms the deterioration of the autonomy-functional capacity after a HF, in line with what has been published, and has allowed to identify which elderly people are at the greatest risk of complications in the short and medium term (institutionalization and death).

[I-Gel® laryngeal mask versus bag-valve-mask in instrumental cardiopulmonary resuscitation under capnographic monitoring: Cluster-randomized pilot clinical trial].
To compare the basic airway and the advanced airway with the supraglottic device I-Gel®, by means of capnography during intermediate CPR. ⋯ The use of I-Gel® raises an improvement in the ventilation of the patients in PCR, evidenced by the mean capnometric values in the intervention group, finding no correlation with CPR outcome variables.

To investigate possible early prognostic factors among middle-aged and older adult and explore prognostic rules stratifying risk of patients. ⋯ Clinical course of COVID-19 is early unpredictable, but simple clinical tools as the proposed CD65-M rule (pending external validation) may be helpful assessing these patients in primary care settings.

To detect modifiable factors and target populations associated with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes in primary care. ⋯ Men under 65 years of age with DM2 evolution longer than 5 years are a target population to intensify interventions. Therapeutic non-compliance, inadequate diet, lack of adherence protocols and ratio TG/HDL>3 are the main modifiable factors on which to intervene. The association of the doctor-nurse quota with the control of DM2 is weak, probably due to adequate follow-up of preventive programs.
