To determine the prevalence of physical pathology (morbidity felt) and psychological unease (anxiety-depression) in crucial carers for disabled patients, and so establish a profile of them. ⋯ The crucial carer has a greater prevalence of physical and psychological morbidity. A high IEC and a perception of low social support create the conditions for higher anxiety and depression. Caring for the carer needs to be integrated into care for the disabled patient.

To study the association between the application of a diabetic care programme and modifications in glycated haemoglobin and the Body Mass Index. ⋯ The drop in glycated haemoglobin is significant and more important, the greater the initial value. But it has not been possible to link it with the level of continuance in the programme nor with whether patients were included in the programme. The Body Mass Index does not vary.

To determine: 1) the level of job satisfaction and job stress among general practitioners of National Health Service, and 2) the most common sources of stress of their job. ⋯ The general practitioners work yield job satisfaction. Moderate job stress has been observed among general practitioners. The most important sources of stress were interruptions of family life and other conditions which disturb intimacy.
