Clinical Trial
Endoleak detection using single-acquisition split-bolus dual-energy computer tomography (DECT).
To assess a single-phase, dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) with a split-bolus technique and reconstruction of virtual non-enhanced images for the detection of endoleaks after endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). ⋯ • A single-acquisition, split-bolus approach allows for a significant dose reduction. • Endoleak development is the most common complication after endovascular aortic repair (EVAR). • CT angiography is the imaging modality of choice for aortic aneurysm evaluation.

Is there a difference in treatment outcomes between epidural injections with particulate versus non-particulate steroids?
To compare the outcomes of patients after interlaminar computed tomography (CT)-guided epidural injections of the lumbar spine with particulate vs. non-particulate steroids. ⋯ • CT-guided epidural injections of the lumbar spine with particulate vs. non-particulate steroids. • Good outcomes with particulate steroids. • Less pain relief in patients with non-particulate steroids. • Less improvement in patients with non-particulate steroids.

To evaluate prognostic value of hepatic stiffness (HS) measurement using MR elastography (MRE) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated by hepatic resection (HR). ⋯ • Hepatic stiffness value was a predictive factor for developing posthepatectomy liver failure • Hepatic stiffness value was a significant affecting factor for OS • Hepatic stiffness value ≥ 4.02 kPa was a predictive factor for poor OS.

Comparison between gadolinium-enhanced 2D T1-weighted gradient-echo and spin-echo sequences in the detection of active multiple sclerosis lesions on 3.0T MRI.
To compare the sensitivity of enhancing multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions in gadolinium-enhanced 2D T1-weighted gradient-echo (GRE) and spin-echo (SE) sequences, and to assess the influence of visual conspicuity and laterality on detection of these lesions. ⋯ • 2D SE and GRE sequences are useful for detecting active MS lesions. • Which of these sequences is more sensitive at high field remains uncertain. • GRE sequence showed better sensitivity for detecting active MS lesions than SE. • We propose GRE sequence for detecting active MS lesions at 3.0T.

To verify the association between EGFR status and clinical response to microwave ablation (MWA) and survival. ⋯ • EGFR mutations were commonly seen in women and in nonsmokers • EGFR status had no correlation with the response to MWA, PFS and OS. • The response to MWA could predict PFS and OS.
