Comparative Study
Post-mortem whole-body magnetic resonance imaging of human fetuses: a comparison of 3-T vs. 1.5-T MR imaging with classical autopsy.
To prospectively compare diagnostic accuracy of fetal post-mortem whole-body MRI at 3-T vs. 1.5-T. ⋯ • In PM-MRI, diagnostic error using 3-T is lower than that with 1.5-T. • In PM-MRI, diagnostic scan rate is higher using 3-T than 1.5-T. • In PM-MRI, concordance with classical autopsy increases with 3-T. • PM-MRI using 3-T is particularly interesting for thoracic and abdominal organs. • PM-MRI using 3-T is particularly interesting for fetuses < 20 weeks' gestation.

Noninvasive IDH1 mutation estimation based on a quantitative radiomics approach for grade II glioma.
The status of isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is highly correlated with the development, treatment and prognosis of glioma. We explored a noninvasive method to reveal IDH1 status by using a quantitative radiomics approach for grade II glioma. ⋯ • Noninvasive IDH1 status estimation can be obtained with a radiomics approach. • Automatic and quantitative processes were established for noninvasive biomarker estimation. • High-throughput MRI features are highly correlated to IDH1 states. • Area under the ROC curve of the proposed estimation method reached 0.86.

To investigate the value of 'swallow-tail' sign and putaminal hypointensity on 3 T susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) for distinguishing multiple system atrophy (MSA) from idiopathic Parkinson's disease (IPD). ⋯ • Differential diagnosis of MSA and IPD is still challenging in clinical practice. • Absence of 'swallow-tail' sign is a valuable biomarker for IPD on SWI. • Putaminal hypointensity is a valuable biomarker for MSA on SWI. • Combined 'swallow- tail' sign and putaminal hypointensity increase diagnostic accuracy.

Review Meta Analysis
Treatment of cerebral vasospasm following aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
To examine the clinical outcome of aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage (aSAH) patients exposed to cerebral vasospasm (CVS)-targeted treatments in a meta-analysis and to evaluate the efficacy of intra-arterial (IA) approaches in patients with severe/refractory vasospasm. ⋯ • 33.7% of patients with cerebral Vasospasm following aneurysmal subarachnoid-hemorrhage have an unfavorable outcome. • Refractory vasospasm patients treated using endovascular interventions have lower relative risk of unfavourable outcome. • Subarachnoid haemorrhage patients with severe vasospasm may benefit from endovascular interventions. • The relative risk of unfavourable outcome is lower in patients treated with Cilostazol.

To retrospectively evaluate the diagnostic performance and complications of a CT-guided core needle cutting biopsy of mediastinal nodes through a transpulmonary approach. ⋯ • CT-guided core needle biopsy is an accurate technique for diagnosing mediastinal nodes. • The rates of complications are similar to those for pulmonary lesion biopsy. • Pneumothorax risk factors include distance from pleura to target lesion and number of visceral pleura. • Distance from pleura to target lesion is the risk factor for hemoptysis. • CT-guided core needle biopsy is an important diagnostic method for mediastinal nodes.
