Comparative StudyWork health determinants in employees without sickness absence.
Working ability is known to be related to good physical condition, clear work tasks, positive feedback and other occupational, organizational and psychosocial factors. In Sweden, high levels of sickness absence are due to stress-related disorders and musculoskeletal pain. ⋯ Workers without a history of sick-leave experienced less stress, sleep disturbances, worry about their own health and less neck, shoulder and back pain and more support from their superiors and influence on their working hours.

Occupational exposure to body fluids among health care workers in Georgia.
Health care workers (HCWs) are at increased risk of being infected with blood-borne pathogens. ⋯ Data from this study can be utilized in educational programs and implementation of universal safety precautions for HCWs in Georgia to help achieve similar reductions in blood-borne infection transmission to those achieved in developed countries.

Self-perceived health and return to work following work-related hand injury.
Return to work is an important outcome following traumatic work-related hand injuries. It is unclear how psychosocial factors affect the time to return to work following traumatic work-related hand injury. ⋯ This study highlights the importance of self-perceived health in considering return to work following traumatic work-related hand injury.
