This integrated literature review seeks to identify the key considerations in conducting focus groups and discusses the specific considerations for focus group research with culturally and linguistically diverse groups. ⋯ Focus groups can facilitate increased understanding of perspectives of culturally and linguistically diverse groups and thereby shape clinical practice to better meet the needs of these groups.

To explore practice nurses' perceptions of vestibular rehabilitation and its place in relation to their general role development. ⋯ Vestibular rehabilitation is simple, low-tech and appropriate for widespread development in primary care. Nurses wishing to provide vestibular rehabilitation or similar chronic disease management activities will need to work with medical colleagues to define role boundaries.

To develop and validate a learning needs assessment scale. ⋯ High quality nursing care depends upon a competent nursing workforce that engages in continuing professional development. This study provides an example of a psychometrically developed learning needs assessment scale to inform continuing professional development needs of nurses working in a specialist area of practice.

The aim of this study was to examine the level of perceived burden of the Chinese families caring for a relative with schizophrenia and to test its associations with their demographic characteristics, social and family factors and health condition. ⋯ This understanding helps health professionals and researchers to identify different sources and domains of burden from a Chinese cultural perspective and take into account of these factors when planning interventions for family caregivers.
