To describe the work of residents and the distribution of their time in 6 intensive care units (ICUs) of 2 medical centers (MCs). ⋯ While in the ICUs, residents spent most time performing direct patient care and care coordination activities. The distribution of activities varied across 2 MCs and across ICUs, which highlights the need to consider the local context on residents' work in ICUs.

Significance of CD163-Positive Macrophages in Proliferative Glomerulonephritis.
CD163, a marker of M2 macrophages, possesses anti-inflammatory properties. This study aims to investigate the clinicopathological significance of CD163-positive macrophages in proliferative glomerulonephritis. ⋯ CD163-positive macrophages were involved in the pathogenesis of proliferative glomerular lesions, active crescentic glomerulonephritis and acute tubular injury of patients with PNGN and active LN.
