[Frequency and associated factors of phantom breast syndrome in women submitted to mastectomy for breast cancer].
To evaluate the frequency and risk factors for the development of phantom breast syndrome in patients submitted to mastectomy after breast cancer treatment. ⋯ The study population had a high frequency of PBS, which decreased over postoperative follow-up. Its occurrence after six months was higher among younger and more educated women.

Randomized Controlled TrialEfficacy of paraspinal anesthetic block in patients with chronic pelvic pain refractory to drug therapy: a randomized clinical trial.
To determine whether paraspinal block reduces pain scores compared to placebo in women with chronic pelvic pain refractory to drug therapy. ⋯ Paraspinal anesthetic block had a small effect on visual analog scale pain score immediately after the injections, but no sustained benefit after one week. Further studies are needed to determine the efficacy of paraspinal anesthetic block with different lidocaine doses for the treatment of visceral pain of other causes.

Relationship between anxiety and overactive bladder syndrome in older women.
The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between overactive bladder syndrome and anxiety in older women. ⋯ Overactive bladder syndrome was prevalent among older women and the existence of these symptoms was linked to the presence of mild, moderate and/or severe anxiety symptoms.

[Disability and factors associated with gestational low back pain].
To determine the prevalence of low back pain in pregnant women and to describe its characteristics and associated factors. ⋯ The prevalence of back pain among pregnant women is high, with varying characteristics. The degree of disability is usually moderate and the presence of urinary infection and higher disability scores were associated with greater intensity of low back pain.

[Correlation between serum Ca-125 levels and surgical findings in women with symptoms evocative of endometriosis].
To correlate preoperative serum cancer antigen 125 (Ca-125) levels and laparoscopic findings in women with pelvic pain symptoms suggestive of endometriosis. ⋯ Investigation for DIE is mandatory in women with pelvic pain symptoms suggestive of endometriosis with a preoperative Ca-125 level ≥ 35 U/mL, especially when an ovarian endometrioma is not present.
