Risk factors for non-melanoma skin cancer development in renal transplant recipients: a 40 year retrospective study in Croatia.
To determine the prevalence of non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) and disease-specific risk factors in renal transplant recipients (RTRs). ⋯ RTRs are at high risk for NMSC development. Sex, age at transplantation, and type of immunosuppressive therapy play a role in tumor development.

Serotype distribution and antimicrobial resistance of invasive Streptococcus pneumoniae isolates among Croatian adults during a fifteen-year period (2005-2019).
To assess serotype distribution, antibiotic resistance, and vaccine coverage against Streptococcus pneumoniae causing invasive infections in Croatian adults from 2005 to 2019. ⋯ The incidence of invasive pneumococcal disease in adults is highest in patients ≥65 years of age. Penicillin susceptibility, increased exposure and macrolide resistance were mostly associated with serotypes 14 and 19A. PCV13 and PPV23 provide very high serotype coverage. Future studies should evaluate the effects of the 10-valent vaccine, introduced in the Croatian National Immunization Program in June 2019, on serotype distribution and antibiotic resistance rates.

Case ReportsSenhance robot-assisted adrenalectomy: a case series.
We present a case series of 12 consecutive robot-assisted adrenalectomies performed from May 2019 to March 2020 by a single surgeon experienced in laparoscopy using the novel Senhance robotic system. Eleven patients had primary aldosteronism due to an adrenal adenoma, diagnosed by means of endocrinological and radiological evaluation, and 1 had a benign adrenal cyst. The robotic adrenalectomy technique is described in detail. ⋯ There was 1 Clavien Dindo IIIB complication and 1 patient underwent conversion to laparoscopy. All patients with adenoma had complete biochemical remission after surgery. In conclusion, the Senhance robotic system is a safe and feasible platform for benign adrenal surgery in high-volume centers.

Non-phosphorylated Tyr-1248 form of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) predicts resistance to trastuzumab therapy and poor disease-free survival of HER2-positive breast cancer patients.
To determine the predictive value of phosphorylated human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (pHER2Y1248) status in breast cancer (BC) patients undergoing trastuzumab-based adjuvant therapy. ⋯ pHER2Y1248 predicts sensitivity to trastuzumab and a better five-year DFS regardless of any other prognostic parameter. In HER2-positive BC patients. Non-phosphorylated HER2Y1248 is a strong predictor of trastuzumab resistance and a poor DFS.

Relationship between disease impact scores and C-reactive protein/albumin ratio in patients with psoriatic arthritis.
To evaluate the relationships between the C-reactive protein (CRP)/albumin ratio (CAR), neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and Disease Activity in Psoriatic Arthritis (DAPSA) and Psoriatic Arthritis Impact of Disease 12-item-questionnaire (PsAID-12) scores in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA). ⋯ The CAR can be useful in daily practice as a simple and quick assessment method to evaluate disease impact in PsA.
