Background and Objectives: Mycosis fungoides (MF) and large plaque parapsoriasis (LPP) evolution provide intriguing data and are the cause of numerous debates. The diagnosis of MF and LPP is associated with confusion and imprecise definition. Copy number alterations (CNAs) may play an essential role in the genesis of cancer out of genes expression dysregulation. ⋯ Results: After reviewing each group, we observed that the histograms generated for chromosome 1-22 were remarkably similar and had a lot of CNAs in common, but also significant differences were seen. Conclusions: This study took a step forward in finding out the differences and similarities between MF and LPP, for a more specific and implicitly correct approach of the case. The similarity between these two pathologies in terms of CNAs is striking, emphasizing once again the difficulty of approaching and differentiating them.

Ergonomics in interventional radiology has not been thoroughly evaluated. Like any operators, interventional radiologists are exposed to the risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The use of lead shielding to radiation exposure and the lack of ergonomic principles developed so far contribute to these disorders, which may potentially affect their livelihoods, quality of life, and productivity. The objectives of this review were to describe the different situations encountered in interventional radiology and to compile the strategies both available to date and in development to improve ergonomics.

Conservative Approach in the Management of Large Periapical Cyst-Like Lesions. A Report of Two Cases.
Background and Objectives: Periapical cystic lesions are a pathology frequently addressed to endodontic specialists. Although their therapy is still not standardized, the treatment should be as conservative as possible and by endodontic means, as they are lesions of endodontic origin. The present case report describes two cases of upper central incisors with large cyst-like periapical lesions, and their one-year follow up. ⋯ Conclusions: Endodontic treatment is the first choice option in the management of teeth with pulpal necrosis and large periapical cystic-like lesions. Decompression is the only surgical procedure recommended when the canals cannot be dried and obturated. Large surgical interventions are unnecessary in cases where endodontic treatment can be performed.

Background and Objectives: Primary gastric diffuse large-B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive lymphoma subtype with high 18F-FDG avidity but unclear criteria for 2-[18F]-FDG PET/CT in the evaluation of treatment response and prognostication. Our aim was to investigate whether the pretreatment 2-[18F]-FDG PET/CT variables may predict treatment response (at end of first-line therapy) and prognosis in primary gastric DLBCL. Materials and Methods: we included 57 patients with a diagnosis of primary gastric DLBCL and a baseline 2-[18F]-FDG PET/CT and an end of treatment PET/CT after 6 cycles of R-CHOP chemotherapy. ⋯ Results: at a median follow up of 80 months, the median PFS and OS were 69 and 80 months. Baseline gMTV, gTLG, tMTV, and TLG were significantly higher in patients with incomplete response (partial response and progression) compared to complete response group. tMTV and TLG were confirmed to be independent prognostic factors both for PFS (p = 0.023 and p = 0.038) and OS (p = 0.038 and p = 0.026); instead, the other metabolic parameters were not related to outcome survival. Conclusions: high tMTV and TLG were significantly correlated with shorter survival (PFS and OS) and may predict incomplete response after therapy.

Background and Objectives: The susceptibility of pregnant patients at term to SARS-CoV-2 infection regarding the ABO and Rh blood group polymorphism was analyzed in this study. Materials and Methods: In this prospective study, 457 patients admitted for delivery at term in our hospital, between 1 April 2020 and 31 December 2020 were studied. There were 46 positive and 411 SARS-CoV-2 negative patients. ⋯ In our study, the highest risk was found among BIII Rh-negative pregnant patients at term (OR = 3). None of the above differences were statistically significant. Conclusions: No significant difference was found between the percentage of ABO or Rh blood groups in SARS-CoV-2 positive patients when compared with SARS-CoV-2 negative patients (p = 0.562).
