Review Meta Analysis
Clinicopathological Significances of Positive Surgical Resection Margin after Radical Prostatectomy for Prostatic Cancers: A Meta-Analysis.
Background and Objectives: This study aims to elucidate the positive rate and the clinicopathological significance of surgical margin after radical prostatectomy (RP) through a meta-analysis. Materials and Methods: This meta-analysis finally used 59 studies, including the information about the positive surgical margin (PSM) and those clinicopathological significances after RP. The subgroup analysis for the estimated rates of PSM was evaluated based on types of surgery, grade groups, and pathological tumor (pT) stages. ⋯ Patients with PSM showed worse BCR-free survival than those with NSM (hazard ratio 2.368, 95% CI 2.043-2.744%). Conclusions: Our results showed that PSM was significantly correlated with worse clinicopathological characteristics and biochemical recurrence-free survival. Among the results in preoperative evaluations, grade group and tumor stage are useful for the prediction of PSM.

Observational Study
An Observational Study on Oral Health and Quality of Life for RPD Wearers in the N-E Region of Romania.
There is a lack of information regarding the oral health of the elderly population in Romania; only a few articles have been published about their edentulism, and there are no official data regarding the oral health, OHRQoL, and prosthodontic status of this population. The objective of this study was to assess the relationship between the essential functional qualities of removable partial dentures (RPD) and participants' oral-health-related wellbeing among an edentulous population from the N-E region in Romania using the OHIP-5-questionnaire. In total, 546 patients from Gr. ⋯ For questions 1, 2, 3, and 5 of the OHIP, the null hypothesis was rejected, as there were statistically significant differences between the three groups. This study was limited to a specific group. However, it can provide an insight into RPD patients' happiness when treated in an academic environment.

Background and Objectives: Shoulder disorders are associated with pain, restricted range of motion and muscular strength, moderate disability and diminished proprioception. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of an innovative technology-supported and a classical therapist-based proprioceptive training program in addition to conventional physiotherapy, on joint position sense (JPS), pain and function, in individuals with different musculoskeletal shoulder disorders, such as rotator cuff tear, subacromial impingement syndrome and superior labrum anterior and posterior tear. The innovative element of the proprioceptive training programme consists of the use of the Kinesimeter, a device created for both training and assessing shoulder JPS. ⋯ Both KPT and CPT groups showed statistically significant improvements in JPS, pain and function, compared to the control group which received no proprioceptive training (all p < 0.05). However, the KPT group showed no significant benefits compared to the CPT group. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that using the Kinesimeter device as a novel, innovative proprioceptive training tool has similar effects as the classical proprioceptive training programs among individuals with different non-operated musculoskeletal shoulder disorders such as: rotator cuff tear, subacromial impingement syndrome, and superior labrum anterior and posterior tear.

Background and Objectives: While autologous fat grafting has been carried out in the clinical field for many years, the utilization of isolated and cultured adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) is highly restricted in many countries. However, ADSCs are under investigation currently and heavily researched in many cell-based therapy approaches in the field of regenerative medicine. Objective: For the utilization of future cell-based therapies with ADSCs, in vitro cell expansion might be necessary in many cases. ⋯ Furthermore, we showed different biological processes that changed during short-term cell expansion, which led to downregulation of fat-associated metabolism hormone processes and to an upregulation of extracellular matrix-associated genes. Conclusion: In conclusion, our study reveals a detailed insight into early changes in the gene expression profile of cultured ADSCs. Our results can be utilized in future experiments.

Introduction: Pneumothorax is a condition that usually occurs in thin, young people, especially in smokers. It is an unusual complication of COVID-19 disease that can be associated with worse results. This disease can occur without pre-existing lung disease or without mechanical ventilation. ⋯ Early imaging examination starts an effective diagnosis and treatment management. In severe COVID-19 pneumothorax cases, the pneumothorax did not influence the evolution of COVID-19 disease. When we found that the general condition worsened with the rapid progression of dyspnea and the deterioration of the general condition, and we found that it represented the progression or recurrence of pneumothorax.
