(1) Background: Aggressive angiomyxoma is a mesenchymal cancer that is rare during pregnancy. It is a neoplasm that relapses and infiltrates the nearest structures. Our aim is to evaluate the management and outcomes of an observed case, in light of the current literature. (2) Methods: We observed this condition at the "Maggiore della Carità" Hospital in Novara (Italy) in a patient with an initial twin pregnancy and a suspected pelvic mass. ⋯ We analyzed the literature about the topic and found only 24 similar clinical cases. (4) Conclusions: Considering the current literature, it is useful to assess an aggressive angiomyxoma in the differential diagnosis of soft masses in pregnant women. The treatment of choice is surgical excision, and vaginal delivery is feasible. The therapeutic decision depends on each case.

Tissue engineering (TE) is a rapidly evolving biomedical discipline that can play an important role in treating neurogenic bladder dysfunction and compensating for current conventional options' shortcomings. This review aims to analyze the current status of preclinical and clinical trials and discuss what could be expected in the future based on the current state of the art. Although most preclinical studies provide promising results on the effectiveness of TE and stem cell therapies, the main limitations are mainly the very slow translation of preclinical trials to clinical trials, lack of quality research on neurogenic preconditions of neurogenic bladder dysfunction outside of the spinal cord injury and varying therapeutic methods of the existing research that lacks a standardized approach.

Background: Ultrasonography (US) and the 99mTc-sestamibi parathyroid scan (SPS) may have suboptimal accuracy when detecting the localization of enlarged parathyroid gland(s) (PTG). Therefore, the more accurate four-dimensional computed tomography scan (4D-CT) has been employed for PTG imaging. Currently, there is a paucity of data evaluating the utility of 4D-CT in low caseload settings. ⋯ The implementation of 4D-CT (since 01/2018) was associated with a decrease in the need for redo surgery (from 11.5% to 7.3%) and significantly increased the annual case load of PTX at our institution (from 15.3 to 41.0) compared to the period before 4D-CT diagnostics. Conclusions: 4D-CT imaging enabled to precisely locate almost 95% of enlarged PTG in patients with pHPT. Accurate localization and intraoperatively displayed imaging results are useful guides for surgeons to make PTX a faster and safer procedure in a low-volume center.

Background: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a prevalent form of urinary tract diseases affecting individuals of all ages and genders. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), UTIs are a significant burden on the healthcare system, comprising 10% of all infections and ranking as the second leading cause of emergency department admissions. Despite this, limited research has been conducted in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Jazan Province, located in the southwestern region. ⋯ Consistent with findings from other regions, Escherichia coli remains the most common causative pathogen of UTIs, displaying a seasonal pattern that warrants attention. Approximately 35% of reported cases involve MDRO, with ESBLs accounting for 30%. These results should raise concerns among healthcare officials, highlighting the necessity for further investigations into factors contributing to the circulation of MDRO in Jazan.

Background and Objectives: Breast cancer is a significant type of cancer among women worldwide. Studies have reported the anti-carcinogenic activity of Hydrastis Canadensis (Goldenseal) in cancer cell lines. Hydrastis Canadensis could help eliminate toxic substances due to its anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and other properties. ⋯ The phytoconstituents; Riboflavin and Canadensis showed good interaction with the targets of hormone-independent breast cancer. The complexes were found to be kinetically and thermodynamically stable. Conclusions: Hydrastis Canadensis has been identified as effective in controlling 'hormone-independent or basal-like breast cancer' followed by 'hormone-dependent breast cancer: Luminal A' and Luminal B.
