Primary Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis among Patients with Glomerular Disease Undergoing Kidney Biopsy in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Primary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis is a form of glomerular disease that needs immunosuppressive therapy, which, if untreated, can lead to end-stage renal disease. Ultrastructural analysis by electron microscopy is essential to distinguish primary from other forms of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of primary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis among patients with glomerular diseases undergoing kidney biopsy in a tertiary care centre. ⋯ biopsy; hematuria; kidney; proteinuria.

B-Lynch Suture Management among Patients with Postpartum Hemorrhage in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Postpartum haemorrhage is the most life-threatening complication during pregnancy and atonic postpartum haemorrhage being the commonest one, often poses difficulties in management. B-Lynch suture with a high success rate has emerged as a life-saving measure in uncontrolled atonic postpartum haemorrhage refractory to uterotonics. The objective of this study was to find out the prevalence of B-Lynch suture management among patients with post-partum haemorrhage in a tertiary care centre. ⋯ cesarean section; postpartum haemorrhage; suture.

Ruptured Corpus Luteum among Women Undergoing Laparotomy for Hemoperitoneum in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Rupture of the corpus luteum, though generally self-limiting in women with normal coagulation, could lead to life-threatening bleeding in patients with prosthetic valves on anticoagulant therapy and described in only a few case reports in the literature. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of ruptured corpus luteum among women undergoing laparotomy for hemoperitoneum in a tertiary care centre. ⋯ anticoagulant; corpus luteum; hemoperitoneum.
