Case ReportsMetronidazole Induced Cerebellar Toxicity: A Case Report.
Metronidazole is a widely used antibiotic against bacterial and protozoan infections. Even though the therapeutic use of the drug is high, it is associated with some severe side effects like neurotoxicity such as optic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, encephalopathy and cerebellar toxicity. We present a case of a 55-years male presented with dysarthria, who had positive cerebellar sign and magnetic resonance imaging findings suggestive of metronidazole induced cerebellar toxicity following metronidazole therapy for two months in a case of liver abscess. And, the symptoms resolved after cessation of metronidazole.

Observational StudyCervical Intraepithelial Lesions in Women with Persistent Inflammatory Smear on Pap Smear: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Persistent inflammatory smear is a benign finding on pap test but is associated with premalignant lesion of the cervix. Further evaluation is therefore necessary. This study was done to determine the prevalence of cervical intraepithelial lesions in women with persistent inflammatory smear. ⋯ The prevalence of cervical intraepithelial lesions in women with persistent inflammatory smear on pap was higher in our study compared to other studies.

Breast Arterial Calcifications on Mammography among Patients Attending the Radiology Department in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Breast arterial calcifications are common mammographic findings which are associated with coronary artery disease. The aim of this study was to find the prevalence of breast arterial calcifications in women presenting for mammography in a tertiary care centre. ⋯ We found an increase in the number and grade of vascular calcifications in breasts with the patient's age. When present breast arterial calcifications must be mentioned in mammogram report. Identification of such calcifications on mammogram should prompt further screening for atherosclerotic disease.

Case ReportsAlopecia Universalis Associated with Hyperthyroidism Treated with Azathioprine and Hydroxychloroquine: A Case Report.
Alopecia universalis is an uncommon form of alopecia areata involving hair loss over the entire scalp and body. This condition is difficult to treat and sustain the growth of hair for longer duration. ⋯ She was treated successfully with azathioprine and hydroxychloroquine. Alopecia universalis with less response to oral steroid therapy was successfully managed with azathioprine with hydroxychloroquine.

Right External Carotid Artery Originated Right Superior Thyroid Artery in Cadavers of a Medical College in Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
External carotid artery originated superior thyroid artery are frequently documented in classical anatomical, surgical and radiological textbooks. Knowledge of anatomical variations, proper identification of superior thyroid arteries is very important to avoid major complications during and after neck surgeries. The aim of the study is to find out the prevalence of right superior thyroid artery originating from right external carotid artery in cadavers of a Medical College in Nepal. ⋯ In our study we observed that almost nine tenths of right superior thyroid arteries originated from the right external carotid artery which was relatively high in comparison to other studies. Thus, Extensive knowledge of variations in origin of superior thyroid artery is important for surgeons prior to various interventional surgeries.
