Type A Cubital Venous Pattern among Students of a Dental College: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Superficial veins in cubital fossa vary frequently in their anatomical pattern. The knowledge of variation of the cubital venous pattern is very essential for medical professionals for venous access during different medical procedures. This study aims to find the prevalence of Type A cubital venous pattern among students of a dental college. ⋯ This study showed higher Type A cubital venous pattern among dental students than other international studies.

Tuberculosis among Patients Admitted to the Department of Medicine of a Tertiary Care Center in Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Tuberculosis has high burden in developing countries like Nepal. This study aims to determine the prevalence of tuberculosis among patients admitted in the department of medicine of a tertiary hospital. ⋯ The study showed that the prevalence of tuberculosis among admitted patients was higher than national prevalence.

Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome is a rare disease characterized by painful ophthalmoplegia affecting third, fourth, and/or sixth cranial nerve caused by non-specific inflammation in the cavernous sinus or superior orbital fissure of unknown etiology. We presented a 67-year-old female with Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome. She had a right-sided headache and periorbital pain with double vision. ⋯ Magnetic resonance imaging of head and orbit showed altered signal intensity changes in the optic nerve and lateral rectus muscle. After steroid therapy, pain and ptosis were significantly improved in 72 hours. Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome is a diagnosis of exclusion, with clinical presentation, normal investigations, magnetic resonance imaging findings, and response to steroid therapy crucial in making the diagnosis.

Menstrual migraine is a condition in females, where headaches are linked with menstruation and may be debilitating. Hormonal fluctuations could have a key role in migraine etiopathogenesis, as several women experience that their migraine attacks correlate with their menstrual cycle. ⋯ However, with proper identification and management of the condition, it can be bearable. This article highlights some portions of what is known about migraine, its triggers including the experience of a sufferer and aims to provide readers with a better understanding of migraine in women by understanding these aspects of the condition.

Unleashing Potential of a Medical Student in a Medical Journal: Dual Full-time Responsibilities.
"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go"-TS Elliot. Joining the editorial support as a medical student, at the Journal of Nepal Medical Association, full-time responsibilities, were challenging to perform. ⋯ Learning leadership qualities, time management skills, communication skills and technical skills, helped me to excel in my duty as assistant editor and a medical student. Involving in the training and working with authors and the editorial team, I have learned about the actual research and its scenario in Nepal.
