Prevalence of Helicobacter Pylori in Endoscopic Gastric Biopsies of Chronic Gastritis Patients at A Tertiary Care Centre.
Presence and severity of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) colonization is an important factor to decide the treatment of chronic gastritis. This study aimed to find the prevalence of H. pylori colonization in chronic gastritis patients. ⋯ Prevalence of H. pylori colonization is high in chronic gastritis and there is a parallel increase in the severity of gastritis with an increase in the severity of H. pylori load.

Self-medication Practices among the Peri-urban Households of Two Communities of Dharan Sub-metropolitan city of Eastern Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Self-medication practice is the use of medication without prescription of health care professionals. Drug resistance, drug side effects, wastage of resources, and serious health hazards including death are associated with self-medication. We conducted this study to find out the prevalence of self- medication among the peri-urban population of two randomly selected communities of Dharan, Nepal. ⋯ Prevalence of self-medication among the peri-urban population was similar to other studies. Headache and fever was the common symptoms for which self-medication were adopted. Awareness regarding potential dangers of self-medication and different drug side effects are recommended at the community level.

Epidemiology of Femur Fractures in Children: A Descriptive Cross Sectional Study Based on a Rural Population of Nepal.
Femur fracture in children is one of the most common lower limb fractures which require inpatient care. The aim of this study is to determine the epidemiology of femoral shaft fractures in children from a rural population of Karnali Nepal. ⋯ Fracture was common in 2-6 years of age group in boys during summer. Fall from cliff, rooftop and ladder were the major preventable cause of fracture. Delayed presentation and prior treatment with traditional bone setters add special challenges to orthopedic surgeons working in rural teaching hospital.

Stone Clearance by Computed Tomography after Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy has the highest stone free rate among other procedures with relatively higher complication rate. Post-operative imaging after stone surgeries has not been uniform. This study was done to study about the stone clearance by computed tomography after percutaneous nephrolithotomy. ⋯ Low dose computed tomography kidney, ureter and bladder done for assessment of stone clearance after 48 hours of percutaneous nephrolithomy detected residual in around one fourth of patients, however majority of them had residual fragments <4mm. Intra-operative fluoroscopic clearance may over estimate stone clearance after percutaneous nephrolithomy as about one third of patients still may have residual fragments of >4mm size.

Prevalence of Psychological Effect of COVID-19 on Medical Professionals in a Tertiary Care Center.
COVID-19 is a pandemic disease first detected in Wuhan, China on last December 2019. Many doctors and nurses, were infected and lost their life by COVID-19 around the world. Therefore COVID-19 brought unbearable psychological pressure on doctors, and nurses. The objective of this study is to find the prevalence of anxiety among medical doctors and nurses. ⋯ The mental health of medical doctors and nurses is significantly affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hospital administration should conduct psychological preparedness training to the medical profession before posting on duty to provide quality health services to the patients.
