Case ReportsMyocysticercosis as a Rare Cause of Hand Swelling involving Thenar Group of Muscles: A Case Report.
Larval form of Taenia solium causes cysticercosis that commonly involves the central nervous system. Other sites of manifestation are eye, gastrointestinal system, skeletal muscles and subcutaneous tissues. Isolated muscular involvement is rare with only a handful of cases reported in the literature. ⋯ This should be considered in differential diagnosis in our developing nation and especially in endemic region. High resolution ultrasound of the hand (thenar region) helped in the diagnosis and is often diagnostic like in our case. The treatment of choice of an isolated symptomatic lesion without involvement of central nervous system is surgical excision which we did followed by short course of antiheminthic and anti-inflammatory medication for two weeks.

Sacrococcygeal teratoma is rare and happens in 1:35,000 to 40,000 live births. It is more common in girls than boys with the reported ratio of 3:1 to 4:1. We herein report an unusual case of a huge sacrococcygeal teratoma, which was more than half of the size and weight of the baby which was terminated at 24 weeks of gestation.

Standard Operating Procedure for Specimen Collection, Packaging and Transport for Diagnosis of SARS-COV-2.
Coronavirus disease-19 is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARSCoV-2). Specimen quality, and proper transportation is vital for accurate diagnosis. ⋯ Nasopharyngeal swabs and/or oropharyngeal swabs should be collected for real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction to detect SARS-CoV-2. The sample should be collected wearing proper personal protective equipment, packed in a triple packaging system, and transported maintaining cold chain.

Negative pressure pulmonary edema is an uncommon complication of the extubation of the endotracheal tube. An increase in intrathoracic pressure and negative pressure of the lung caused by acute laryngeal spasm results from acute upper respiratory obstruction causing life-threatening pulmonary edema by alveolar-capillary damage is called negative pressure pulmonary edema. We here describe 28-years old female case the preoperative diagnosis of pelvic inflammatory disease undergoing exploratory laporoscopy caused negative pressure pulmonary edema while extubation. With the immediate treatment, the patient was discharged without any abnormalities.

Case ReportsLaparoscopic Management of Large Right Paratubal Cyst: A Case Report.
Paratubal cysts are generally small but there are rare cases of large paratubal cyst and this case is one of them. Here we report a case of a young female with complains of abdominal fullness since 3 months. On examination, a huge mass (25 x 25 cm) extending from symphysis pubis upto xiphisternum was noted. ⋯ It was drained with the help of veress needle and laparoscopic cystectomy was done. A large adnexal cyst extending above umbilicus is traditionally managed by laparotomy. But with the advent of laparoscopy, even a huge cyst can be managed by laparoscopy.
