Mean Amplitude of Diurnal Variation of Sub-Foveal Choroidal Thickness among Adults with Healthy Eyes Visiting Outpatient Department of a Tertiary Eye Care Centre.
The choroid, particularly the choroidal vasculature, plays an important role in the pathophysiology of various ocular diseases. Diurnal variation in the thickness of the choroid has been reported in previous studies. Traumatic Injury among Patients Presenting to the Department of Emergency Medicine of a Tertiary Care Centre.
The majority of trauma-related deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries; however, limited data exists in these settings related to injury types and severity. The prevalence of trauma similar to our setting was less estimated. Hypothyroidism among Children with Nephrotic Syndrome Admitted to a Tertiary Care Centre.
Nephrotic syndrome is a glomerular disease characterized by massive urinary protein loss occurring in children. Proteinuria also leads to loss of thyroid binding globulin affecting thyroid function. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of hypothyroidism among children with nephrotic syndrome admitted to a tertiary care centre. ⋯ children; hypothyroidism; nephrotic syndrome; prevalence.
