Knowledge on Diet among the Hypertensive Patients in a Tertiary Care Center Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Hypertension is one of the leading causes of death and disability in both developed and developing countries. The prevalence of hypertension is increasing rapidly worldwide. The aim of the study was to determine the knowledge of diet and exercise among hypertensive patients. ⋯ This study revealed that the knowledge about diet and exercise among hypertensive patients is poor and this study suggests the need for a proper educational intervention to improve awareness and to control hypertension effectively.

Odontophobia or dental fear is a "unique phobia with special psychosomatic components that impact on the dental health of the odontophobia persons". It is well documented that dental fear has a significant impact on dental care utilization behaviors. The objective of this study was to find out the level of dental fear among school children studying in government schools of Dharan, Nepal. ⋯ The present study showed that most of the school going children had high fear of dental treatment. So, school health programs should be planned to make the children familiar to dentistry and proper treatment modalities should be provided to make the child comfortable to seek dental care.

Health Seeking Behaviour among Medical Students in a Teaching Hospital of Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Medical students are more prone to suffer from various physiological and psychological problems but rather than seeking for formal health care, they tend to do informal consultation and often practice self medication. Thus, this study aimed to find out the health seeking behavior of medical students. ⋯ Health problems were common among students and most of them required multiple hospital visits. Many students seeked for health from hospital/ clinic but informal consultations were also seen.

The development of health system in Nepal dates back from ancient period to the modern period starting from ayurvedic medicine to today's modern allopathic treatment. With regard to the different rulers in different time period, the number of improvements and changes in the health system of Nepal has been made. Case ReportsCongenital Adrenal Hyperplasia with Salt Wasting Crisis: A Case Report.
Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia is a group of autosomal recessive disorders due to deficiencies of enzymes involved in steroidogenesis. The most common form is a 21-hydroxylase deficiency which can be classical or non-classical. The severe form also called Classical Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia is usually detected after birth to infant period. ⋯ The diagnosis was based on an elevated level of 17-hydroxyprogesterone. He was managed and life long oral Prednisolone and Fludrocortisone were prescribed. Keywords: 21-hydroxylase, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, case report.
