Poor Quality of Sleep among Healthcare Workers in a Tertiary Care Centre.
Health personnel work under highly stressful conditions with long work hours, frequent night work, and shift duties resulting in sleep problems. Sleep problems lead to a decline in performance, cognition, memory, decision-making, medical errors and mental disorders. Traumatic Injury among Patients Presenting to the Department of Emergency Medicine of a Tertiary Care Centre.
The majority of trauma-related deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries; however, limited data exists in these settings related to injury types and severity. The prevalence of trauma similar to our setting was less estimated. This study aimed to find the prevalence of traumatic injury among patients presented to the department of emergency medicine of a tertiary care centre. ⋯ emergency care; injuries and wounds; injury severity score; trauma unit.

Hypothyroidism among Children with Nephrotic Syndrome Admitted to a Tertiary Care Centre.
Nephrotic syndrome is a glomerular disease characterized by massive urinary protein loss occurring in children. Proteinuria also leads to loss of thyroid binding globulin affecting thyroid function. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of hypothyroidism among children with nephrotic syndrome admitted to a tertiary care centre. ⋯ children; hypothyroidism; nephrotic syndrome; prevalence.

Infective Vaginal Discharge among Women of the Reproductive Age in the Outpatient Department of a Primary Care Centre.
Infective vaginal discharge is the most common complaint of the women of reproductive age group attending gynaecology outpatient department. Vaginal discharge may be normal or abnormal. Infective vaginal discharge is usually related to one of the three conditions, like bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, and trichomoniasis. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of infective vaginal discharge among women of the reproductive age in the outpatient department of a primary care centre. ⋯ bacterial; candidiasis; prevalence; vaginitis.

Birth Asphyxia among Neonates Admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a Tertiary Care Hospital.
Birth asphyxia causes significant morbidity and mortality among neonates, especially in low-income and middle-income countries like Nepal. However, there is a paucity of data regarding its burden.
