Awareness regarding Menstrual Hygiene among Girl Students of a School in Chitwan.
Adolescent girls often lack knowledge regarding reproductive health including menstruation which can be due to socio-cultural barriers in which they grow up. It is important to educate adolescents about issues related to menstruation so that they can safeguard themselves and hold implications for professionals involved in improvement of reproductive health. The main objective of the study was to find out awareness regarding menstrual hygiene among girl students of a school in Chitwan. ⋯ Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene was present among the girl students, but practice for proper menustral hygiene was low compared to studies done in similar settings.

Prevalence of Working Memory Impairment in Drug Naive Schizophrenic Patients in a Tertiary Care Hospital.
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which clear consciousness and the intellectual capacity are usually maintained, although certain cognitive deficits may evolve in the course of illness. Working memory impairment in schizophrenia affects the course, outcome, and quality of life of the patient significantly. The aim of the study was to find out the prevalence of working memory impairment in drug naive schizophrenic patients. ⋯ These finding suggests high prevalence of working memory impairment in schizophrenic patients.

Prevalence of Substance Use among Undergraduate Students in a Medical College of Nepal.
The consumption of substances is a common practice among the medical students and their use might reduce educational and clinical performances as well as judgment of the students. This study aims to find out the prevalence of substance use among medical students in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. ⋯ The overall substance use among medical students was high compared to other studies. Alcohol was the most common substance misused by the student followed by tobacco and marijuana. Proper counseling and awareness programs about the potential risk of substances are recommended for the betterment of the students.

Prevalence of Antiretroviral Therapy Use among HIV/AIDS Patients in a District Hospital.
Prevention of Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection is a high priority for the government of Nepal, so the government has been scaling up Anti Retroviral Therapy centers throughout the country. The objective of our study was to find out the prevalence of people living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection on Anti Retroviral Therapy service. ⋯ Our study showed a similar prevalence of people living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection on Anti Retroviral Therapy service with the other studies done within Nepal.
