Systematic review of priority setting studies in health research in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Several research priority-setting studies have been conducted in different countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran. ⋯ Developing standard packages for priority setting, training of researchers and improving the capacity of organizations may improve the quality of priority-setting studies in the future.

EditorialImplementing WHO's global strategy in the Eastern Mediterranean Region: what next? (Editorial).
In May 2018, the Seventy-first World Health Assembly, bringing together 194 Member States of the World Health Organization (WHO), unanimously adopted the Organization's thirteenth General Programme of Work) 2023-2019 GPW. (1) (13 GPW 13 will guide WHO's work for at least the next five years. It is closely linked to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: (2) essentially, it specifies strategic priorities and goals that need to be achieved globally by 2023 to keep on track with achievement of the health-related Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. (3).

Association between gingivitis severity and lifestyle habits in young Saudi Arabian males.
Gingivitis is a risk factor for periodontitis, which is associated with several systemic disorders. Adolescence provides an opportunity to establish good oral health practices but there are few studies on gingivitis in adolescents. ⋯ Gingivitis severity was not associated with tooth-brushing but significantly increased with smoking when sugary drinks were used, indicating the effect of unhealthy lifestyle on gingival health, and the need to promote healthy lifestyle habits in this age group.

Health needs and priorities of Syrian refugees in camps and urban settings in Jordan: perspectives of refugees and health care providers.
The United Nations has declared the Syrian refugee crisis to be the biggest humanitarian emergency of our era. Neighbouring countries, such as Jordan, strain to meet the health needs of Syrian refugees in addition to their own citizens given limited resources. ⋯ Syrian refugees identified cost as the main barrier to health care access. Both refugees and health care providers emphasized the importance of directing more resources to chronic diseases and mental health.
