This paper explores how frontline nurses experienced the onset of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic to provide appropriate care during a global health crisis. ⋯ Understanding the challenges faced by frontline nurses during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic may help healthcare practitioners and policy makers to implement targeted interventions, support mechanisms and resource allocation strategies that enhance the well-being of frontline nurses and optimise patient care delivery during health crises.

Evaluating future nurses' perspectives on artificial intelligence, determining their missing or incorrect information on the subject and determining their anxiety levels are of great importance in terms of providing science and technology-based health services in the future. ⋯ In the study, it was determined that the artificial intelligence anxiety levels of nursing students were high. It has been determined that students with negative feelings about artificial intelligence have higher artificial intelligence anxiety levels. Our suggestion; adding courses or subjects related to artificial intelligence to the university curriculum and starting to include nurses in the working processes during their student years.

The retraction has been agreed as this Letter to the Editor lacks relevant scientific discussion and the statements in this letter are not sufficiently supported by references to the literature.
