Established coronary artery disease (CAD) patients are at increased risk for recurrence of cardiovascular events and mortality due to non-attainment of recommended risk factor control targets. ⋯ These findings emphasize the urgent need for effective management and heightened awareness, particularly for controlling LDL-C in the CAD population. Action to address this issue is crucial for mitigating the CVD burden, particularly in low- and middle-income countries such as Indonesia.

In contrast to abundant research on the various acute mental effects of COVID-19, the long-term influences of the pandemic are still underexplored in China owing to the paucity of assessment tools. The Pandemic Disengagement Syndrome Scale (PDSS) assesses people's social disengagement as a lasting psychological consequence in Western countries during the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. However, its generalizability across cultures is untested. ⋯ The findings indicated that disengagement syndrome may exist among Chinese people even substantially after the acute phases of the pandemic. Meanwhile, the Chinese PDSS demonstrating acceptable psychometric features can be a valid instrument to assess the syndrome. Several possible reasons for the persistence of disengagement in China are discussed.

To validate codelists for defining a range of mental health (MH) conditions with primary care data, using a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach and without requiring external data. ⋯ We produced a comprehensive set of medical codes lists for 12 MH conditions validated by a combination of clinical consensus panel and quantitative cluster analysis with cross-validation.

The development of clinical practice guidelines (CPG) has evolved into a rigorous and complex process. There is a need for training of CPG developers including methodologists, panel members and patient representatives. This study explored the educational needs and experiences of CPG developers, with specific attention to the patient perspective and economic considerations. ⋯ This study underscores the importance of tailored CPG development training programmes addressing the specific competencies required for the different roles in CPG development. Thereby, recognising a holistic approach encompassing both content- and process-related aspects. Addressing economic considerations and the patient perspective in training will contribute to CPGs that support a patient-centred and sustainable healthcare system.

Understanding students' learning approach, modifying teaching methods, curriculum and material accordingly is essential to deliver quality education. Knowing more about the learning approaches assists in upgrading the profession's quality for continuous professional development. ⋯ The predominant approach is the deep learning approach reflecting active learning. This may indicate that curriculum and strategies of teaching are employed over physiotherapy students to promote quality learning. Also, the teaching preferences varies between two group of physiotherapy students. Thus, this will also assist physiotherapy educators in planning and delivering learning activities according to learners by knowing their preferences.
