Clinicopathological Characteristics of Lung Adenocarcinoma with Unexpected Lymph Node Metastasis.
The objective is to demonstrate the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with unexpected node-positive lung adenocarcinoma and to analyze predictive factors of unexpected disease. ⋯ Histological findings of the primary tumor are often important because they can provide predictive information for lymph nodes status. Having a micropapillary component was one of the significant predictors of unexpected node-positive diseases.

Comparative Study Observational StudyComparison of Mid-Term Graft Patency between On-Pump and Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting.
Multiple studies have compared on-pump coronary artery bypass (ONCAB) grafting with off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) grafting, but the optimal surgical strategy has yet to be established. Furthermore, there is limited evidence regarding mid-term graft patency rates. ⋯ Propensity-score-matched analysis revealed no difference in mid-term survival rate, MACCE free rate, graft patency rates, and number of distal anastomoses between ONCAB and OPCAB groups.

ReviewConduits Used in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: A Review of Morphological Studies.
There is a significant variety of vascular conduits options for coronary bypass surgery. Adequate graft selection is the most important factor for the success of the intervention. To ensure durability, permeability, and bypass function, there must be a morphological similarity between the graft and the coronary artery. ⋯ Currently, the internal thoracic artery is the standard choice for bypass surgery because of the morphological characteristics of the wall that makes less prone to developing atherosclerosis and hyperplasia. The radial and right gastroepiploic arteries are the following second and third best options, respectively. The ulnar artery is the preferred choice when other conduits are not feasible.

Review Case ReportsLate Stent Graft Infection after the Emergency Endovascular Repair of a Secondary Iliac Artery-Enteric Fistula Treated with Graft Removal and In Situ Aortic Reconstruction Using Femoral Veins.
An arterioenteric fistula is a devastating and life-threatening condition that requires urgent treatment. Less-invasive endovascular treatment has emerged as an alternative to conventional open repair, but postoperative graft infection remains a major concern. We herein report a case of late stent graft infection after emergency endovascular repair of a secondary iliac artery-enteric fistula. ⋯ The diagnosis of a stent graft infection was confirmed via computed tomography. He underwent graft removal and in situ reconstruction with femoral vein grafts. At 6-month follow-up, the patient is in a good general condition without any symptoms.

Effect of the Nuss Procedure on the Physical Development of Patients with Pectus Excavatum.
This study assessed physical development of patients with pectus excavatum and evaluated the effect of the Nuss procedure on physical development. ⋯ The Nuss procedure may contribute positively to the physical development of patients with pectus excavatum.
