Attitudes of medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry students about psychostimulant use to enhance cognition.
The use of psychostimulant drugs to increase academic success is common among young people. There is no study examining this issue in Turkish population. In this study, the prevalence, attitudes, knowledge, and ethical evaluations of Pharmacological Cognitive Enhancement (PCE) in university students were investigated. ⋯ PCE is a method used by young with high knowledge, low study performance satisfaction, to increase their academic success, especially during exam periods. Peer effect is an important factor in increasing prevalence.

Is It Possible to Expect Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction Improvement in Patients with Known Advanced Heart Diseases in The Case of Right Atrial Flutter Treated by Ablation?
Atrial flutter (AFL)-related tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy (TICM) is a treatable cause of heart failure (HF). This study aims to explore the effect of AFL ablation on left ventricular (LV) function in right AFL patients with or without advanced heart diseases. ⋯ Successful ablation for right AFL could achieve more reversal of LV dysfunction in patients without advanced heart diseases. Pre-ablation LVEDV ≥ 137 mL was associated with no improvement of LV performance after ablation.

Could fibrinogen to albumin ratio be a predictive marker for recurrent pregnancy loss.
Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is usually defined by two or more consecutive clinical miscarriages, which causes psychological trauma for couples. In this study, we aimed to investigate the predictive role of fibrinogen to albumin ratio (FAR) in patients with RPL. ⋯ Our results indicate that the FAR and NLR levels seem to be effective parameters for predicting RPL with high sensitivity and specificity.

Demonstration of Advanced Glycation End product (AGE) Expression in Bladder Cancer Tissue in Type 2 Diabetic and Non-diabetic Patients and the Relationship between AGE Accumulation and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress (ERS) with Bladder Cancer.
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between advanced glycation end product (AGE) expression and accumulation in transurethral resection (TUR-B) material taken from type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and non-DM bladder cancer patients and endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) with bladder cancer. ⋯ Bladder cancer may develop as a result of accumulation of AGEs and ERS. Demonstration of the expression of proteins resulting from AGEs and ERS may be useful biomarkers for the diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and development of treatment alternatives for bladder cancer.

Investıgatıon of clınıcal and pathologıcal fındıngs due to anatomıcal localızatıon ın patıents wıth colorectal cancer.
We classified anatomical localisation tumours of patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer and undergoing surgery as right and left colon and we aimed to determine how this funding affects the prognosis of the disease and survival times. ⋯ We are thinking that in colorectal cancer, the anatomical localisation of the tumour can hold an important place to determine the clinical differences such as, the disease symptoms, course, treatment options and survival status.
