ReviewCommunity pharmacists' management of minor ailments in developing countries: A systematic review of types, recommendations, information gathering and counselling practices.
To conduct a systematic review of the management of minor ailments by community pharmacists in developing countries, and to identify the specific minor ailments encountered, the medications recommended or requested and the information gathering and counselling practices. ⋯ Community pharmacists' encounter with and management of minor ailments appear extensive in developing countries and probably present an opportunity to contribute significantly to reduce disease burden and enhance public health. However, the management process is currently unstructured, unguided by a specific protocol and vary in the quality of recommendations, information gathering and counselling practices.

ReviewFrequency, signs and symptoms, and criteria adopted for long COVID: a systematic review.
To identify, systematically evaluate and summarise the best available evidence on the frequency of long COVID-19 (post-acute COVID-19 syndrome), its clinical manifestations, and the criteria used for diagnosis. ⋯ The frequency of long COVID-19 reached up to 80% over the studies included and occurred between 3 and 24 weeks after acute phase or hospital discharge. Chest pain, fatigue, dyspnea, and cough were the most reported clinical manifestations attributed to the condition. Based on these systematic review findings, there is an urgent need to understand this emerging, complex and challenging medical condition. Proposals for diagnostic criteria and standard terminology are welcome.

Randomized Controlled TrialComparative evaluation of intravenous dexketoprofen and paracetamol in the management of pain induced by sore throat.
Sore throat is one of the most prevalent causes of emergency visits. The chief purpose of this clinical report is to investigate the effectiveness of intravenous (IV) dexketoprofen and paracetamol drugs relative to each other in relieving the pain induced by sore throat in emergency visits. ⋯ In emergency department, IV dexketoprofen and paracetamol reduced sore throat pain equally, providing similar analgesic efficacy.

We compared inhalational and total intravenous anaesthesia about haemodynamic stability and oxidative stress response in vertebral surgery. ⋯ Dynamic thiol/disulfide haemostasis reflects oxidative stress. Propofol positively contributes to oxidative stress in elective vertebral surgery.

Randomized Controlled TrialDoes the power of the laser devices matter for a successful HoLEP procedure? A prospective comparative study.
The objectives of this prospective study were to evaluate the efficiency, safety and applicability of medium-power (MP) holmium laser devices in the endoscopic enucleation of the enlarged prostate (HoLEP) compared with high-power (HP) laser devices. ⋯ Our comparative study indicated that HoLEP can be performed safely and effectively with MP laser devices without any technical difficulties and with comparable results achieved in HP laser devices.
