Success of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy based on CT texture analysis.
The aims of the study were to evaluate whether computerised tomography texture analysis (CTTA) based on non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT) has predictive value for the success of extracorporeal-shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) in upper urinary tract stones (UUTS). ⋯ CTTA can help select patients who will undergo ESWL for upper urinary tract stones. Thus, we can reduce treatment costs and ESWL complications by preventing unnecessary ESWL applications.

Molecular properties and survival of lung adenocarcinoma in young patients.
This study aims to investigate the molecular properties and factors of lung cancer in young patients aged 18-45 years, affecting survival in patients with pulmonary adenocarcinoma. ⋯ In our study, significant efficacy of age, gender distribution, smoking, metastasis, ALK positivity, presence of chemotherapy, targeted therapy and surgical treatment was observed in young adenocarcinoma patients. The molecular properties of lung adenocarcinoma in young patients differ from those in the general population, and major driver genes are major factors influencing tumour differentiation and prognosis. In our study, we aimed to explain the molecular properties and results of pulmonary adenocarcinoma. In the future, we will provide constructive recommendations for the prevention and treatment of young patients.

Predictors of Growth of Escherichia coli on Lab Coats as Part of Hospital-Acquired Infection Transmission through Healthcare Personnel Attire.
Previous research has documented the presence of microbes on healthcare personnel (HCP) attire. This study aimed to explore the bacterial contamination and predictors of Escherichia coli (E coli) growth, as well as, hygiene and handling practices of HCP attire that could influence growth of E coli. ⋯ HCP should be cautious about the method of use and storage of lab coats they wear.

The Middle Cerebral Artery Density and Ratio for the diagnosis of Acute Ischemic Stroke in the Emergency Department.
Non-contrast computed tomography (ncCT) is the first-line imaging modality for acute ischaemic stroke diagnosis. Recognition of the early diagnostic signs of a stroke on computed tomography (CT) is crucial. The hyperdense middle cerebral artery (MCA) sign is one of these findings. We investigated the diagnostic utility of absolute MCA density (MCAD) in patients with acute MCA stroke confirmed with diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (dwMRI). ⋯ MCAD and MCAD ratio can be used to identify patients who need early treatment, especially in situations where computed tomography angiogram or dwMRI are not readily available.

Sleep quality and related factors in a sample of Turkish healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic: A cross-sectional study.
Increasing workloads and psychological pressure have led to fatigue among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Increasing stress and social isolation can also lead to sleep problems. The purpose of this study was to evaluate sleep quality and related factors among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey. ⋯ Poor sleep quality was common among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working in hospitals and high traumatic stress levels were identified as factors associated with poor sleep quality.
