The Relationship Between Non- Segmental Vitiligo, HLA Genotype and Oxidative Stress.
Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease characterised by acquired loss of melanocytes. Although the pathogenesis of vitiligo remains unknown, oxidative stress and autoimmune dysregulations are considered to play a role. ⋯ Our study showed that HLA-A*02 increases, HLA-A*11 and HLA-DRB1*01 decreases vitiligo susceptibility in Turkish patients as well as a possible relationship between HLA and TAC.

Neutrophil-Lymphocyte and Platelet-Lymphocyte Ratios in Otitis Media with Effusion in Children: diagnostic role and audiologic correlations.
To investigate the relationship between hearing loss and complete blood count parameters including neutrophil, lymphocyte, platelet (PLT), mean platelet volume (MPV), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in children with otitis media with effusion (OME). ⋯ The present study revealed that NLR and PLR values were valuable parameters in the diagnosis of serous OME and predicting a hearing loss. These parameters may provide additional information to the audiogram that could influence the therapeutic decision.

Pharmacy and Pharm.D students' knowledge and information needs about COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic necessitates collaborative teamwork by all healthcare providers including pharmacists. Since Pharmacy and Pharm. D students represent the future pharmacists, it is necessary to ensure that they have a good awareness about COVID-19 or any other pandemic that could happen in the future. ⋯ The results of this study clearly demonstrate unsatisfactory level of knowledge and a lot of information needs about COVID-19 amongst Pharmacy and Pharm. D students. More efforts should be deployed to educate pharmacy students about COVID-19, with an emphasis on the need for more active role by the universities to achieve this goal.
