The profession of medicine is very depressing both mentally and physically. There were studies conducted to investigate the reasons of depression and burnout. Hopelessness leads to depression and may be it is the first sign. The aim of our study is to determine the despair levels of primary care physicians. ⋯ The dissatisfied aspects of Family Medicine System should be examined in detail, and necessary measures should be taken against violence, which is a common problem in the whole healthcare sector. In this way, employee satisfaction and therefore patient satisfaction can be achieved.

Family Physicians' Awareness and General Knowledge of Hidradenitis Suppurativa: A Survey Research.
Medical consultations of family physicians play a key role in early diagnosis and proper management of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). This study aimed to investigate family physicians' disease awareness, general attitudes, and knowledge of HS. ⋯ The family physicians' awareness of HS is limited. Increased practice in medical education and postgraduate education programmes may help increase the knowledge of family physicians.

About Anxiety levels and Anti-anxiety drugs among quarantined Undergraduate Jordanian Students during COVID-19 Pandemic.
This study was conducted to study the anxiety scores among undergraduate university students in Jordan during COVID-19 pandemic and to assess the relationship between quarantine and shifting to distance learning resulted from the governmental strict isolation measures and severity of anxiety among students. ⋯ Our findings indicate that quarantine and shifting to distance learning during COVID-19 pandemic have negatively affected the anxiety scores of the university students which should be taken in consideration by the policymakers in Jordan in order to support this vulnerable group.

Observational StudyLactate clearance during the first 2 hours after hospital admission: A useful biomarker for predicting 30-day mortality in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.
This study assessed whether lactate clearance (LC) during the first 2 hours after admission to the emergency department can be used to predict the 30-day mortality of patients diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). ⋯ LC during the first 2 hours after admission is useful for predicting 30-day mortality in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.

Higher dietary insulin load and index are not associated with risk of metabolic syndrome and obesity in Iranian adults.
Data about the relation between dietary insulin load (DIL) and dietary insulin index (DII) with metabolic syndrome (MetS) and obesity are scarce. Therefore, the present study aimed to examine the association of the insulinemic potential of the diet with MetS and obesity amongst Iranian adults. ⋯ We did not observe any significant association of DIL and DII with the risk of MetS and obesity amongst the Iranian population. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm the findings of this study.
