Recommendations on off-label use of intravenous azithromycin in children.
Intravenous azithromycin (AZM) has been widely used in children worldwide, but there still remains much concern regarding its off-label use, which urgently needs to be regulated. Therefore, we developed a rapid advice guideline in China to give recommendations of rational use of intravenous AZM in children. ⋯ This guideline has summarised the evidence and has developed recommendations on the use of intravenous AZM in children worldwide. Further attention and well-designed researches should be conducted on the off-label use of intravenous AZM in children.

Evaluation of corneal densitometry changes in patients with lichen planus.
To investigate the corneal topography and densitometry changes in patients with lichen planus (LP). ⋯ Corneal densitometry values were higher in patients with LP than in individuals with healthy eyes, even if the patients had a clinically transparent cornea. More studies are needed to evaluate the changes that may occur in corneal transparency in patients with LP and other autoimmune dermatologic diseases that may affect the eye.

Evaluation of the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on sleep disorders and nutrition in children.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the possible changes in sleep behavior and nutrition in children during the pandemic period. ⋯ Sleep and nutritional disorders affect the quality of life for all ages for both genders, and their importance increases even more in extraordinary periods such as pandemic. Sleep problems increasing especially with an accompanying anxiety state may lead to developmental problems as well as deepening psychological disorders.

Observational StudyApproaches and Awareness of Family Physicians on Diabetes Management during Ramadan.
This study aimed to determine the approaches of family physicians in Turkey towards the fasting of diabetic patients and whether they used international treatment guidelines when making recommendations. In addition, this study also aimed to increase the awareness of family physicians about this issue before Ramadan, which is a month of fasting. ⋯ The lack of international guidelines on the subject, and of knowledge and experience about Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patient management during the month of fasting, stood out as the biggest problems. This study revealed that the awareness and competence of family physicians in disease management should be increased, in addition to that of fasting before, during, and after Ramadan in patients with DM, which has increasing prevalence in Turkey.

A Personalized diet study: The interaction between ApoA2 -265T>C polymorphism and dietary inflammatory index on oxidative and inflammatory markers and lipid profile in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: A cross-sectional study.
This study aimed to investigate the interaction between dietary inflammatory index (DII) and apolipoproteinA2 265T > C (ApoA2 -265T > C) polymorphism on inflammatory and oxidative markers and lipid profile in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. ⋯ These findings indicate that CC genotype might predict higher inflammatory and oxidative status level compared to T allele carriers. An inflammatory diet may accelerate oxidative stress in subjects with CC genotype. However, the association between APOA2 -265T > C polymorphism and inflammation and lipid profile is presented less modifiable by DII.
