Evaluating the Likelihood to be Helped or Harmed after Treatment with Viloxazine Extended-Release in Children and Adolescents with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
When clinicians evaluate potential medications for their patients, they must weigh the probability of a treatment's benefits against the possible risks. To this end, the present analyses evaluate the novel nonstimulant viloxazine extended-release (viloxazine ER) using measures of effect size to describe the potential benefits of its treatment in children and adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as the risk of discontinuation because of intolerable adverse events. ⋯ These results indicate that patients with ADHD are likely to benefit from treatment with viloxazine ER, and are unlikely to discontinue, as viloxazine ER treatment was associated with favourable LHH, NNT, and NNH values. Clinicaltrials.gov: NCT03247530, NCT03247543, NCT03247517, NCT03247556.

''How safe and effective is stentless laparoscopic ureterolithotomy in elderly patients?''.
With the improvement of minimally invasive urology procedures, open surgical interventions are less common to treat ureteral calculus. Laparoscopic ureterolithotomy (LU) indications are large multiple and/or impacted ureteral calculus that may not be treated with shock-wave lithotripsy or ureterorenoscopy approaches. The aim of our study was to investigate the feasibility and safety of stentless LU in elderly patients. ⋯ The significant advances in medical technology and healthcare, lead a rising number of geriatric patients to take benefit of even complicated surgery. Although laparoscopy and its safety in the geriatric population pursues a challenge and the assessment of this procedure is hence obligatory, we think that stentless LU is safe, economical and less uncomfortable for elderly patients.

The Effect of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program on Work Productivity and Clinical Parameters in Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis.
The objective of the present study was to investigate the effect of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme on work productivity, disease activity, functional status, quality of life, respiratory function tests (RFTs), physical capacity and depression in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients. ⋯ Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme was found to be an effective method of improving work productivity in AS patients. Also, the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme has positive effects on disease activity, functional status, physical capacity, depression level, and quality of life.

Evaluation of The Effects of Different Remineralization agents on Initial Enamel Lesions by Scanning Electron Microscope and Energy-Distributed X-ray Analysis.
This study compared the ability of four remineralization agents to restore demineralised enamel lesions in permanent human incisors. ⋯ The group treated with a fluoride-free, xylitol-containing ROCS medical remineralising gel had the lowest Ca/P ratio. Compared with the control groups, Remin Pro and ROCS remineralising gel appeared effective for repairing initial enamel lesions.

Evaluation of adherence to levothyroxine and out-of-range thyroid-stimulating hormone levels in pregnant women with primary hypothyroidism.
Adherence to levothyroxine (LT4) and attaining thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) goal in pregnancy has not been well-defined yet. We aimed to investigate adherence to LT4, success to reach TSH goal, and association between them in pregnant women with primary hypothyroidism. ⋯ Non-adherence and treatment failure are frequent in LT4-treated pregnant women. Adherence seems not to be associated with treatment success. Regular follow-up may improve adherence. Our study is the first to analyse both treatment success and adherence to LT4 in pregnancy.
