The aim of our study was to describe the technique and the efficacy of ultrasound-guidance for celiac plexus block in cancer patients in our institution Antoine Lacassagne Center. Celiac plexus block was performed in 13 cancer patients under ultrasound-guidance (n=13). All patients had excruciating epigastric and generalized abdominal pain caused by cancer. ⋯ Color Doppler sonography improved visualization of the 21 Gauge Chiba needle when the needle shaft was vibrated. Echogenic foci were observed around the origin of the celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery in all cases. Ultrasound guidance is safe and effective and should be attempted for celiac plexus block whenever possible.

[Intralobar sequestration of the lung in an adult (type 1 of pryce). Treatment by coil embolization].
A 34 year old patient presented with recurrent hemoptysis. A chest radiograph was normal. Helical CT angiogram of the chest with tridimensional reconstructions demonstrated an intralobar pulmonary vascular sequestration Pryce I-type of the right lower lobe. ⋯ Transient pulmonary infarction occurred immediately after treatment. At two years follow-up, the patient remains asymptomatic. Percutaneous embolization of this rare pulmonary vascular malformation is an alternative to surgical treatment.

Even though pancreatic involvement in case of polyarteritis nodosa is uncommon, it reveals infrequently the disease. Furthermore, the occurrence of pancreatic pseudocyst in case of polyarteritis nodosa is rare. ⋯ CT scan showed non specific intrapancreatic cystic lesion for which the diagnosis of mucinous cystic tumor of the pancreas was considered. After surgical resection, histopathologic analysis led to the diagnosis of intrapancreatic pseudocyst secondary to polyarteritis nodosa.

We present the neuroimaging features with clinical and pathologic correlation in a case of Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML) in AIDS. CT and MRI showed typical lesions of PML. At pathology examination, characteristic lesions of PML were found in association with HIV encephalitis due to CNS infection by the virus.
