Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyCoracoid versus lateral sagittal infraclavicular block.
The aim of this study was to compare block performance time and secondarily success rates of coracoid block (CB) and lateral sagittal infraclavicular block (LSIB). ⋯ Both block techniques were effective and performed in a similar time period.

Ischial and pubic osteotomies performed by medial approach during periacetabular osteotomies: an anatomical study.
The aim of this study was to identify the anatomic landmarks of ischial and pubic osteotomies performed as part of Bernese periacetabular osteotomy, measure the distances of these landmarks to the main neurovascular structures and determine whether these osteotomies can be performed and visualized using a medial approach. ⋯ The "pubic osteotomy line" connecting the anterior obturator tubercle and obturator crest, and the inferior border of the posterior obturator tubercle (the starting point of the ischial osteotomy line) can be approached and visualized safely using a medial incision in Bernese periacetabular osteotomy.

The effect of dexketoprofen trometamol on the healing of diaphysis fractures of rat tibia.
The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of dexketoprofen trometamol, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, on fracture healing. ⋯ No radiological, biomechanical, and histological effects were detected in the healing of closed fractures of the tibia fixed with intramedullary nail with the long-term use of dexketoprofen trometamol. Dexketoprofen trometamol may be used in patients undergoing surgical fixation for traumatic fractures, taking into account other drugs administered together.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyIntra-articular levobupivacaine, lornoxicam and morphine analgesia after knee arthroscopy: a randomized, controlled trial.
The aim of this study was to compare the analgesic effects of intra-articular levobupivacaine alone, intra-articular levobupivacaine in combination with lornoxicam, and intra-articular levobupivacaine in combination with lornoxicam and morphine on patients following arthroscopic surgery. ⋯ The combination of levobupivacaine and lornoxicam is superior to levobupivacaine alone and the addition of morphine does not improve VAS scores. It appears that the addition of additional drugs for more effective analgesia has its limits.
