This study aims to systematically review the management and outcomes of pediatric patients who develop intracranial pseudoaneurysm (IPA) following head trauma or iatrogenic injury. ⋯ IPAs were successfully obliterated, and favorable neurological outcomes were achieved at a high rate regardless of primary treatment strategy. DAE had a higher rate of recurrence than the other treatment groups. Each described treatment method in our review is safe and viable for the treatment of IPAs in pediatric patients.

There is currently no consensus on the appropriate timing of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (PPV) resumption in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) after endoscopic pituitary surgery. We performed a systematic review of the literature to better assess the safety of early PPV use in OSA patients following surgery. ⋯ Early resumption of PPV in OSA patients after endoscopic endonasal pituitary surgery appears relatively safe. However, the current literature is limited. Additional studies with more rigorous outcome reporting are warranted to assess the true safety of re-initiating PPV postoperatively in this population.

"Should Redo Surgery be Offered to Patients with Relapsed Glioblastoma? - Outcome analyses of a single institution comparative cohort study".
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the predominant malignant brain tumor originating intracranially. The established first-line treatment postsurgery is concurrent chemoradiation as a definitive measure. However, recurrent GBM's pose a challenge for clinicians who rely on institutional experience to determine the most suitable course of action. Second-line chemotherapy may be administered with or without surgery depending on the institution's practice. This study aims to present our tertiary center institution's experience with recurrent GBM patients who underwent redo surgery. ⋯ Our study found that redo surgery for recurrent GBM is a viable treatment option for a select group of patients with good performance status, longer PFS from primary treatment, and compressive symptoms. However, the use of redo surgery varies depending on the institution. A well-designed randomized controlled trial in this population would help establish the standard of surgical care.
