Review Case Reports
[Abdominal Burkitt lymphoma mimicking the ovarian cancer. Case report and review of the literature].
Primary Burkitt lymphoma is a lymphoblastic B-cell malignant tumor with very aggressive course. Its abdominal form involving internal genital organs is very rare. ⋯ The presence of primary abdominal Burkitt lymphoma may include clinical and laboratory findings suggesting the presence of ovarian cancer. Chemotherapy appears to be an essential therapeutic management for all forms of Burkitt lymphoma. Clinically advanced Burkitt lymphoma may be successfully managed with chemotherapy.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study
[Comparative efficacy and tolerability of drotaverine 80 mg and ibuprofen 400 mg in patients with primary dysmenorrhoea--protocol DOROTA].
To compare efficacy and tolerability of drotaverine 80 mg and ibuprofen 400 mg in patients with primary dysmenorrhoea. ⋯ After analizing the data statistically and clinically, significant differences in favour of ibuprofen 400 mg were evidenced for efficacy criteria. Ibuprofen was more efficient and the effect was faster, than drotaverine in relieving pain in dysmenorrhoea. Both drugs were well tolerated. The reported adverse events were typical drug reactions or expected events in patients suffering from dysmenorrhoea.

Aortic aneurysms occurs very rarely in young women. They usually accompany congenital heart diseases, Marfan's syndrome, bicuspid aortic valve and coarctation. What is more, they may be the consequence of syphilis and trauma, however less frequently. ⋯ Until recently only a few cases of aneurysm repairs during pregnancy have been reported. Also, only one pregnancy and one delivery in a patient after the repair of aortic aneurysm have been described in the literature. In our research we wish to report the successful management of a pregnancy, ended by vaginal route, 8 years after the replacement of descending thoracic aorta with a synthetic graft for aneurysm.

The process of carcinogenesis in both types of cervical carcinoma is dependent on the infection of oncogenic types of HPV. HPV infection could be diagnosed on the basis of whether or not the DNA virus in present. In pregnant women the latent-persistent infection easily changes into its active form. This process is related to changes in immunological response and concentration of the hormones. ⋯ Asymptomatic HPV infection has the same frequency in II and III trimester. High parity, cigarette smoking and oncological family history were connected with an increased rate of high risk HPV infection. All women in reproductive age should be checked for the HPV DNA.
