Headaches are the most frequent condition in humans. Some of the primary headaches e.g. migraine, tension type headache and chronic paroxysmal hemicrania are more prevalent in women than in men. ⋯ Differential diagnosis of those headaches are very important, because the pharmaceutical treatment is restricted. [Successful termination of pregnancy complicated by fetal ascites--case report and review of the literature].
This is a case of 25-year-old woman, primigravida, admitted to our department in 27th week of pregnancy complicated by fetal ascites revealed by ultrasound examination. The patient underwent diagnostic amniopunction and viral examinations in 20th week of pregnancy. The results from these studies were normal. ⋯ A live female child was born by caesarean section in 38th week of gestation. The shunt was removed after delivery. The woman and the baby were discharged in a good general condition.

Comparative Study
[Comparison of gas and gasless laparoscopy in the treatment of benign ovarian tumors].
The aim of the study was to compare the outcomes of the gas and gasless laparoscopy in the treatment of benign ovarian tumors. ⋯ Gasless laparoscopic cystectomy is equally efficient and safe as gas laparoscopy. The lack of necessity of producing and maintaining pneumoperitoneum during the surgery was additional advantage of gasless laparoscopy in comparison to gas laparoscopy, because it was possible to perform it in epidural anesthesia.

The object of our study was the liver rupture as a complication of HELLP syndrome. We described a case of 27-year-old primigravida who underwent the cesarean section because of HELLP syndrome, followed by four laparotomies, due to capsular hematoma and liver rupture. ⋯ The main issue is to state the early diagnosis of HELLP syndrome because its clinical presentation at the beginning is very unclear and diagnosis is often delayed. It is important because the morbidity and mortality rates associated with the syndrome have been reported to be as high as 25 percent.
