The purpose of the study was to check the conformity of diagnosis based on macroscopic hysteroscopy image with the respective pathology report. ⋯ 1. Hysteroscopic features are in high agreement with pathology report with reference to endometrial cancer, endometrial polyps and submucosus myomas. 2. Hysteroscopy does not seem to be a satisfactory tool for the differentiation between endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma.

Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) during pregnancy is rare but serious obstetric complication. SAH occurs more often in primiparae and in the third trimester of pregnancy. The hemodynamic and endocrine changes play an important role in the growth and rupture of aneurysms. ⋯ When the aneurysm is successfully clipped, the pregnancy can be allowed to progress to term. In these cases the vaginal delivery is preferred by most clinicians. Caesarean section would be indicated in several circumstances: when the clinical state of mother is severe (coma, brain stem damage), if the aneurysm is diagnosed at term of labour, if the interval between the neurosurgical treatment of aneurysm and labour is less than 8 days.

Multiple pregnancy contributes to higher maternal and fetal risks than a single one. Complications typical only for multiple pregnancy such as PROM with preterm delivery, intrauterine death or IUGR of one of twins can occur during 2nd and 3rd trimester. Treatment in such situations is usually difficult and often controversial because of simultaneous presence of an alive and/or healthy fetus and possible risk for mother. The paper presents such situations and possible ways of treatment.

The aim of this study was to review 39 twin deliveries in the Department of Obstetrics in District Hospital in Lublin in 1998. The incidence of twin pregnancies was 2.01%. ⋯ Twenty patients (51.28%) delivered vaginally and 19 women (48.7%) underwent cesarean section including 2 cesarean birth of second twin after vaginal delivery of first twin. In our results, we conclude that the techniques of twin delivery, whether vaginal or by cesarean section, would depend on the judgement and expertise of the labour in twin gestations.
