Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyEarly chest tube removal regardless of drainage volume after anatomic pulmonary resection: A multicenter, randomized, controlled trial.
This study aimed to evaluate the safety and feasibility of early chest tube removal after anatomic pulmonary resection, regardless of the drainage volume. ⋯ Early chest tube removal, regardless of drainage volume, was safe and feasible in patients who underwent anatomic pulmonary resection.

Multicenter StudyDoes valve size impact hemodynamic, left ventricular mass regression, and prosthetic valve deterioration with a sutureless aortic valve?
To assess the mid-term clinical outcomes, hemodynamics, left ventricular (LV) mass regression, and structural valve deterioration (SVD) in patients implanted with the Perceval aortic sutureless valve across valve sizes. ⋯ The Perceval valve demonstrated low and stable mean gradients, significant LV mass regression, and low SVD and reintervention rates across all valve sizes.

Multicenter StudyPreoperative Mediastinal Staging in Early-Stage Lung Cancer: Targeted Nodal Sampling is Not Inferior to Systematic Nodal Sampling.
To determine whether targeted sampling (TS), which omits biopsy of triple- normal lymph nodes (LNs) on positron emission tomography, computed tomography, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), is noninferior to systematic sampling (SS) of mediastinal LNs during EBUS for staging of patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ In high-volume thoracic endosonography centers, TS is not inferior to SS in nodal staging of early-stage NSCLC. This results in change of clinical management for a minority of patients.
