Our study aimed to identify the total costs of inpatient treatment for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in a tertiary institution in Serbia, an upper-middle-income country in Southeast Europe. ⋯ Direct medical inpatient treatment costs for COVID-19 represent a significant economic burden. The link between increased costs and an ultimate unfavorable outcome should be further explored.HIPPOKRATIA 2022, 26 (2):62-69.

Case Reports
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in a child with low inflammatory markers, persistent hyponatremia, and natriuresis.
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a rare complication after infection with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and the differential diagnosis from Kawasaki disease is predominantly based on patients' older age and positive anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in most cases. ⋯ Low inflammatory markers in children under the age of five years should not exclude a possible diagnosis of MIS-C. Case Reports
A case report of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis and glomerular immune depositions.
Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) is a systemic disease leading to renal complications of pauci-immune focal and segmental necrotizing crescentic glomerulonephritis (PI-NCGN). ⋯ AAV might lead to immune complex deposition in kidneys due to different pathogenetic mechanisms like complement activation and immune complex formation, apart from losing tolerance to neutrophil proteins.
