Objectives: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic and relapsing dermatologic disease that can affect individuals of all ages, including children and adults. The prevalence of AD has increased dramatically over the past few decades. AD may affect children's daily activities, increase their parents' stress, and increase health expenditure. ⋯ Conclusion: Maternal constipation was associated with an elevated risk of AD in offspring. Clinicians should be aware of the potential link to atopic dermatitis in the children of constipation in pregnant women and should treat gut patency issues during pregnancy. More study is needed to investigate the mechanisms of maternal constipation and atopic diseases in offspring.

Background and aim: Patients with chronic hepatitis B patients (CHB) with low-level viremia (LLV) are not necessarily at low risk of developing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The question of whether CHB patients with LLV require immediate antiviral agent (AVT) or long-term AVT remains controversial. The study aims to investigate the risk of HCC development and the risk factors in CHB patients with LLV and construct a nomogram model predicting the risk of HCC. ⋯ Conclusion: Patients with LLV and MVR are still at risk for developing HCC. The nomogram established for CHB patient with LLV, incorporating identified significant risk factors, serves as an effective tool for predicting HCC-free outcomes. This nomogram model provides valuable information for determining appropriate surveillance strategies and prescribing AVT.

Objective: This study aims to propose a personalized cancer prediction model based on the metabolic-inflammatory-nutritional score (MINS) for predicting lymph node metastasis (LNM) in endometrial cancer (EC) and validated prediction of survival probability in patients with a family history of Lynch syndrome-associated cancers (LSAC). Methods: A total of 676 patients diagnosed with EC were enrolled in this study. We calculated the optimal cutoff value using restricted cubic splines (RCS) analysis or the mean value. ⋯ Additionally, a nomogram was demonstrated effective predictive performance with a C-index of 0.778 (95% CI: 0.725-0.832). Conclusion: Preoperative MINS has been determined to be associated with the risk of LNM in EC patients. Utilizing MINS as a basis, the development of a prognostic nomogram holds promise as an effective tool for risk stratification in clinical settings among EC patients with a family history of LSAC.

Currently, there is no consensus on the treatment protocol for ossicular chain trauma. This study aims to investigate the classification and treatment strategies for traumatic ossicular chain dislocation. We retrospectively analyzed 15 patients. ⋯ Pneumolabyrinth was detected in 2 patients. We propose a novel classification system for traumatic ossicular chain dislocation. Treatment strategies should be tailored according to the specific trauma type.

Background: This study aimed to develop a combined ultrasound (US)-pathology model to predict the axillary status more accurately after NST in breast cancer. Methods: This retrospective study included breast cancer patients who received NST at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from 2015 to 2022. Clinical, US, and pathological data were collected. ⋯ The US-based and combined US-pathology models were developed based on preoperative and postoperative information. The two models had an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of 0.821 and 0.883, respectively, which was significantly higher than that of the fine-needle aspiration model (AUC: 0.735). Conclusion: In this study, based on the US-based model, a combined model incorporating the characteristics of ALNs under US and breast pathology was developed and validated to predict axillary pCR.
