The literature on interstitial lung diseases is limited. The aim of this research was to make this entity of diseases more understandable to clinicians and general population of the region of Pakistan. ⋯ IPF and NSIP were the major ILDs, GERD was the only predictor of IPF. This entity of lung diseases needs to be explored further to identify patterns of presentation and to make diagnosis at a manageable stage.

Diabetes registries can be used to monitor the prevalence and incidence of diabetes. Diabetes registries are used in many countries for population management of diabetes, outcomes management, and development of Clinician finding Support Structure, for example, National Diabetes Registry (NDR) in Sweden and Singapore diabetes registry. According to 2nd National Diabetes Survey of Pakistan (NDSP) 2016-2017, overall 26.3% adult (≥20) suffer from diabetes (27.4 million people). ⋯ The upcoming and the ongoing research is periodically being linked with the registry to ensure its modernization. This registry is a useful tool for tracking the status of patient, in order to limit the burden of data collection. A web-based data entry system and automated random sampling has enabled useful data collection and tracking with relatively minimal effort.

To document our experience of the primary anterior sagittal anorectoplasty (ASARP) in female patients with lower and wide fistula in term of the early post operative outcome. ⋯ The single stage procedure can be a good choice for both vestibular and perineal fisula. In majority of cases wound heals completely with minimal or no scaring and give good cosmetic results.

To find out the outcome of management of brain abscess in children. ⋯ Incidence of brain abscess can be decreased by treatment of its predisposing causes as sinusitis and otitis media. Small abscess less than 2cm can be treated with antibiotics. Complete evacuation of pus and excision of abscess wall after performing craniotomy along with appropriate antibiotics is gold standard management of brain abscess in children.

To identify the stage of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) at the time of presentation. ⋯ HCV was the most common in HCC, never treated before, presented for the first time in advance stage of the disease where very limited treatment options left behind.
