To investigate whether the levels of interleukin 1β (IL-1β), interferon γ (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) in children with Kawasaki disease (KD) are correlated with coronary artery lesion (CAL) and resistance to intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment. ⋯ Children with KD may experience changes in IL-1β, IFN-γ, and TNF-α levels in the acute phase. Such a significant increase in levels may be a risk factor for CAL and resistance to IVIG treatment in children with KD, while the prolonged fever time is a risk factor for resistance to IVIG treatment in children with KD.

To investigate the effects of Montelukast sodium combined with Budesonide aerosol on airway function and T lymphocytes in asthmatic children. ⋯ In the clinical treatment of asthmatic children, in combination with routine treatment, budesonide atomizer and montelukast sodium can effectively promote the improvement of airway function, regulate T lymphocytes levels, reduce inflammatory reaction and improve the total clinical curative effect.

To evaluate the safety and efficacy of tacrolimus combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of lupus nephritis. ⋯ Tacrolimus combined with glucocorticoids is a safe and effective treatment regimen for patients with lupus nephritis, boasting a variety of benefits, such as significant efficacy and fewer adverse reactions. With such a regimen, the level of inflammatory factors can be significantly reduced, renal function indicators can be ameliorated, the ESR, complement C3, C4, anti-dsDNA antibody positive rate and SLEDAI score of the patients can be significantly improved.

To compare the outcome prophylactic antibiotics and routine pre-surgical and post-surgical in terms of incidence of surgical site infection (SSI) and to explore the effect of various factors such as duration of surgery and patient characteristics (if any). ⋯ Both the treatments, prophylactic antibiotics and routine pre-surgical and post-surgical were equally effective. However, we recommend the administration of prophylactic since they are cost-effective and prevent bacterial drug resistance.
