To explore the effects of information motivation behavior skill (IMB) model in the cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary heart disease. ⋯ IMB model intervention measures can improve cardiopulmonary function and physical fitness, and enhance the patients' self-efficacy, resulting in high nursing satisfaction.

In this study we retrospectively analyzed the prognostic factors of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ Age, PS score, smoking and treatment mode affect the prognosis and survival of elderly patients with advanced NSCLC. Effective treatment should be given according to the principle of evidence-based medicine.

To study specialties preference of the students at the College of Medicine, Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia; and to determine the factors that affect the choice of their postgraduate specialty. ⋯ Most preferred specialty for medical students is internal medicine followed by general surgery. Both genders preferred internal medicine as their future specialty. Some important specialties such as public health and basic medical sciences were not selected as a future specialty by any student. The most stated reason behind specialty selection is the provision for a good future. Most students are motivated by a practicing doctor to select a postgraduate specialty.

To discuss the clinically significant endoscopic findings of the upper GI tract and their association with different age groups in a dyspeptic rural population of Gadap town, Sindh. ⋯ Normal upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, regardless of age, is a common finding in patients suffering from dyspepsia in our setting. Therefore, in a resource constraint environment like ours, expensive endoscopic procedures should be reserved for those patients who are not responding to medical therapy or those who have alarm symptoms.

To evaluate the satisfaction of dental students toward their dental curriculum and education at dental colleges in the central region of Saudi Arabia. ⋯ Dental students need a greater focus and exposure to research skills during their dental school studies. To improve dental students' level of clinical satisfaction, it is more important for them to have early exposure to comprehensive clinical training than specialty-based clinical training.
