To find out the impact of occupational and socio-demographic factors on the health related quality of life of sewerage and sanitary workers in Karachi. ⋯ The majority of workers, particularly sewage workers, have a very poor quality of life. Along with very bad working circumstances, their standard of living is significantly below par. They were not given any safety equipment. They were handling untreated sewage/waste with their bare hands, and they have never received a typhoid/hepatitis /tetanus vaccine.

To compare conventional PAP smear (CPS) and liquid-based cytology (LBC) for cervical carcinoma screening at a tertiary care hospital of South Punjab, Pakistan. ⋯ In comparison to conventional CPS, LBC was found to be better in terms of adequacy of smear and identification of LSIL and HSIL.

To investigate the application effect of mixed reality (MR) holographic imaging technology in the clinical surgical treatment of spinal cord glioma. ⋯ With the application of MR holographic imaging technology in the surgical treatment of spinal cord glioma, critical clinical value can be realized. Specifically, the resection degree of spinal cord glioma can be displayed in real time, accurately, and three-dimensionally, the effect of surgical resection can be improved, surgical complications can be diminished, and the recovery of spinal cord function can be accelerated.

To investigate the effects of punctate skin grafting combined with or without irrigation on skin graft survival, redness and swelling score and pain in the treatment of large-area residual burn wounds. ⋯ Punctate skin grafting combined with irrigation in the treatment of large-area residual burn wounds presents great effects on skin graft survival, redness and swelling score and pain, and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
