To determine the safety and outcome of splenic artery(SA) transposition in extra-anatomic hepatic arterial reconstruction (HAR) in living donor liver transplantation(LDLT). ⋯ The SA is easily approachable, suitable, and safe for HAR in the difficult situation of hepatic arterial flow inadequacy during LDLT due to its appropriate length, and good blood flow.

To compare the rehabilitation effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) and thermomagnetic therapy (TMT) in patients with low back pain (LBP). ⋯ A combination of core muscle training and ESWT can effectively improve the analgesic effect of the treatment and promote greater improvement of limb function in patients with LBP.
-
To investigate the value of serum procalcitonin(PCT), C-reactive protein(CRP), and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL) in the early diagnosis of acute kidney injury(AKI) after upper urinary tract calculi(UUTC). ⋯ PCT, CRP, and NGAL concentrations in patients with AKI after UUTC were significantly increased two hours after the operation, which can be used for the early diagnosis of AKI after UUTC operation.

To investigate the effect of storage duration of suspended red blood cells (SRBC) before intraoperative infusion on coagulation indexes, routine blood examination and immune function in patients with gastrointestinal (GI) tumors. ⋯ Intraoperative infusion of SRBC with storage duration longer than two weeks increases the risk of perioperative adverse transfusion reactions, which implies that the storage duration of SRBC should be strictly controlled in clinical practice to reduce the risk of blood transfusion.

To compare the changes in Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) thickness and Intraocular Pressure (IOP) after phacoemulsification in patients with glaucoma versus without glaucoma. ⋯ Phacoemulsification results in increase in RNFL thickness and decrease in IOP, which are good prognostic factors in control of glaucoma. However, a mean change of IOP of 1mmHg in glaucoma patient does not affect management of glaucoma.
