The objective of the study was to explore the presentation of symptoms in patients suffering from treatment-resistant mood disorder (TRMD), and associated clinical features, including age, gender, and comorbid conditions, that lead towards the development of treatment-resistant mood disorder. Furthermore, the study analyses the available psychotherapeutic treatment modalities and evidence-based non-medical treatment approaches for TRMD. ⋯ It was concluded that psychotherapeutic interventions in augmentation with pharmacological modalities enhance the efficacy of treatment.

To assess anxiety levels among 1st and 2nd year MBBS and 1st year BDS students in oral examinations of anatomy and physiology and to compare the anxiety scores among students of 1st and 2nd year MBBS and 1st year BDS. ⋯ In summary higher levels of test anxiety, especially for oral examinations was observed in MBBS students as compared to BDS students. It was also observed that anxiety levels were much higher for Anatomy oral examinations as compared to those for Physiology.

Efficacy of argon-helium cryoablation combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced NSCLC.
To explore the efficacy of argon-helium cryoablation (AHC) combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ Compared with chemotherapy alone, conventional chemotherapy combined with AHC in the treatment of advanced NSCLC can significantly reduce the levels of serum tumor markers and improve overall treatment efficacy, quality of life and 1-year overall survival rate.

To study the clinical profile and management outcomes of non-tubal ectopic pregnancy at a tertiary care hospital in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). ⋯ Patients with NTEP were presented with varying symptoms and signs depending upon the location of NTEP. The different currently available management options for NTEP seem to be effective and safe when carefully selected based on the clinical merits of each case.

To assess the inflammatory response and side effects of chemotherapy combined with Shenmai injection (SMI) in the treatment of patients with advanced colorectal cancer (CRC). ⋯ Compared with chemotherapy alone, chemotherapy combined with SMI better alleviates inflammatory response in patients with advanced CRC, enhance immune function, and improve tumor control rate, with a lower incidence of toxic side effects.
