To compare the outcomes of modified extended right lobe graft (MERLG) and modified right lobe graft (MRLG) in living-donor liver transplantation (LDLT). ⋯ With appropriate technical expertise, MERLGs are technically safe and feasible in LDLT donors without any added risks. MERLGs also yielded better outcomes in sick recipients.

To compare and analyze the clinical effectiveness of conventional puncture hematoma drainage and stereotactic robot-guided puncture hematoma drainage in managing intracerebral hemorrhage. ⋯ Stereotactic robot-guided puncture hematoma drainage is a dependable and safe operative method to treat patients who had intracerebral hemorrhage, resulting in various benefits such as short length of operation, less injury, less inflammatory reaction, high hematoma clear efficiency and satisfactory recovery of neurological function.

A report on the cross-cultural adaptation and validation process of the Rome IV Diagnostic Questionnaire for children aged four years and over into Saudi-Arabian Arabic for use in assessing the prevalence of functional gastrointestinal disorders in children in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ This study provides a detailed report on the translation process of the tested ROME- IV Diagnostic Questionnaire for children aged four years and over into Saudi Arabic following Rome Foundation guidelines. The results of the preliminary test should encourage researchers and clinicians in Saudi Arabia to utilize the tool for non-invasive diagnosis of functional gastrointestinal disorders in children.

To assess the effect of subanesthetic dose of esketamine in combination with propofol on the incidence of postoperative fatigue syndrome (POFS) in patients who underwent gastroenterological endoscopy under anaesthesia. ⋯ Subanesthetic dose of esketamine combined with propofol can reduce POFS and postoperative adverse reactions in patients undergoing gastroenterological endoscopy.

This laboratory study evaluated the effect of Salvadora persica (S. persica) root extracts and Chlorhexidine Digluconate (CHX) on the antibacterial and surface hardness properties of glass ionomer cement (GIC). ⋯ Considering the outcome of this in vitro study, it can be concluded that the addition of 3 wt% GIC-SPEE increased the surface hardness and antibacterial activity against Streptococcus mutans.
