To determine the prevalence of family planning practice among the parents of children affected with beta thalassemia major (BTM) and to determine the relationship between various factors and family planning practice in Makran division Balochistan. ⋯ The religious beliefs, economic status of the family, area of residence, and total number of children play a significant role in family planning practices among the parents of children affected with BTM.

This retrospective cohort study aimed to investigate the effects of parity on gestational weight gain (GWG) and its association with maternal and neonatal outcomes in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). ⋯ Parity significantly influences GWG and maternal/neonatal outcomes in GDM pregnancies, highlighting the need for parity-specific guidelines.

Wrist ganglion cysts typically do not show noticeable symptoms but can affect aesthetics and even compress adjacent blood vessels and nerves. Compression therapy can eliminate cysts. ⋯ This study examined a rare case of a wrist ganglion cyst that, after repeated compression and recurrence, enveloped the radial artery. This not only caused wrist swelling and pain but also increased the difficulty and risk of surgical treatment.

The study aimed to examine the factor structure and psychometric properties of ethical leadership questionnaire (ELQ) by using a healthcare professional sample in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ The ELQ is a reliable and valid instrument that can be used on this population to determine employees' perceptions of their leaders' ethical behavior.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between oxidative stress (OS) and endometrial polyps (EP) in pre- versus postmenopausal women with abnormal uterine bleeding. ⋯ Serum OS may play a role in the development of EP, particularly among postmenopausal women. Further investigations are required in this area.
