In this study, it was aimed to screen fatty liver in individuals with metabolic disorders, and to investigate the use of some anthropometric calculations and body composition indices in demonstrating fatty liver disease. ⋯ As a result of our study, we found that various body composition indices, especially BRI, were associated with fatty liver. Especially in female, it was seen that screening of fatty liver with cut-off values of body composition indices, and confirmation by ultrasonography, if necessary, may enable early diagnosis. In male, it was seen that body composition indices and fatty liver could not be determined directly, only BMI and waist circumference were indicative.

Wrist ganglion cysts typically do not show noticeable symptoms but can affect aesthetics and even compress adjacent blood vessels and nerves. Compression therapy can eliminate cysts. ⋯ This study examined a rare case of a wrist ganglion cyst that, after repeated compression and recurrence, enveloped the radial artery. This not only caused wrist swelling and pain but also increased the difficulty and risk of surgical treatment.

To determine the significance of association between developmental dysplasia of hip with ethnicity in newborns using Graf's method ultrasound. ⋯ There is no significant difference in incidence of DDH with gender. However, there is a significant association between ethnicity and incidence of developmental dysplasia of hip in neonates of 28 days age. Incidence of DDH is high in the Sindhi, Punjabi and Pathan populations.

Hypoferritinemia without anemia (HWA) is an under-recognized public health concern. Early identification and targeted treatment of HWA can prevent unnecessary medication use and potential drug abuse. This study aims to establish clearer guidelines for recognizing and managing HWA, improving patient's outcome. The study objectives will be to compare the treatment efficacy of oral and IV iron on patients with HWA and to check the severity of clinical indicators of HWA post treatment among reproductive age women. ⋯ The primary outcome will be the change in serum ferritin levels among groups at four months post-intervention. Secondary outcomes will include changes in clinical symptoms post-intervention. Data will be analyzed by using independent t-tests for between-group ferritin levels, paired t-tests for within-group comparisons, Wilcoxon Rank and Friedman tests for clinical symptoms, and ANOVA for comparisons across multiple groups.
